Refund policy

At Design in Words, everything we make comes straight from the heart (and our hands!). Each item is carefully designed, packed with love, and sent off from our small Canadian studio to yours.

Because of this personal touch, all sales are final — we’re unable to accept returns, exchanges, or offer price adjustments once your order, including gift cards, has been placed. We hope you understand that this helps us keep our process sustainable and our focus where it belongs: on creating beautiful things.

We stand proudly behind everything we create. If your order arrives damaged or if there’s an error on our end (hey, we’re human — it happens!), please reach out to us within 7 days of delivery.

Send an email to hello@designinwords.com with your order number, a quick note about what went wrong, and a clear photo, if possible. We’ll sort things out quickly — either by sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
